I'm new to this whole modding thing. Can you explain more?

Getting your XBOX 360/Wii console modded means you will be able to play backups games of your originals. Most people get their systems modded/hacked so they can play burned/region free games. Getting your original xbox modded allows you to play everything off the hard drive (apps, emulators, music, games, videos). Our modding has nothing to do with "Halo 2" modding/cheating.

Will you contact me when my console arrives so I know it got to you guys?

Yes, we will automatically send you an email (the email registered with your account) when we have your package. Also, if your tracking says delivered...we got it.

By getting my console modded I can still play originals and backups correct?

Yes, everything stays the same plus you can play your backups.

What is the turn-around time for the mod service?

We ship back every Monday.

Will I have to do anything to the system when I get it?

No, your system will be ready to go.

When sending in my console system or DVD Drive do I need to send the system cables or hard drive?

Do not send the cables or hard drive. If you forget to remove the hard drive or leave a game inside don't worry. We will send it back.

I have more than one console, can I purchase both mod services and ship both my consoles in the same box?

Yes, you can purchase both mod services and ship both consoles in the same box. Shipping will double but we will adjust it and refund some back.

It seems like you don't ship to my location, is there a chance you do?

Email us and we will setup it up for you.

Are your premodded consoles brand new, used or refurbished?

All premodded consoles are brand new unless otherwise posted in the description of the product.

My backups are not working, what is wrong?

Burn backups on Verbatims at 8X with IMGBURN (DVD+R DL for 360, DVD-R for Wii). This is the best way. Don't burn on garbage media (memorex, maxell, sony, tdk). Don't burn at 2X or 4X. Slower is not always better. Burn at 8X. Console lasers are very picky.

We all know that those testimonials are fake and just made up to make the company look good!

Actually they are not fake. Every single testimonial has been written by the real customer.

I received my console back from you guys and it works great. How can I write a testimonial?

Go to the homepage. On the left side of the homepage you will see "Web site Testimonials". Under that, click the "more...". Then click on the "Login to write testimonial" up top. It should be self explanatory from there. Note: Only customers that have ordered can write testimonials.

Why do you not have a phone?

We used to put a phone on the site. After many phone calls people would just drag the phone conversation over 1 hour. This was absolutely ridiculous. We only will call you if we need an answer fast about your order. Another reason why we love email over phone is because with email people get straight to the point. If you need us to call you then just email us requesting you want us to call you.

How soon do you answer emails?

80% of the time we will answer within one hour. 15% within 12 hours. 5% within 48 hours. You can also msg us on AIM live chat as well.

I sent an email and I have not got a response yet and it has been over 24 hours...what gives?

Please make sure you add our email address to your "SAFE" list. Also check your spam/junk folders as well.

I tried to order but then it told me I could only pay with paypal. I can't use a credit card?

You can use your credit card through paypal. Paypal is just a gateway.

I don't have a credit card. Can I just pay with cash or money order?

Yes, put the cash/money order inside an envelope and include it inside the box with your system. Make sure to follow the instructions on the print out that pops up.

I just purchased the mod service for my console. What do I do now?

You need to ship your console or DVD drive to us in a well packed box. Then, take your package to your nearest USPS, UPS or FedEx and have them ship to the address below. Make sure you choose a service that provides tracking number. Also include the order number on the outside of the box. Once we get your console/dvd drive, we will do the service and ship it back to your confirmed paypal address. We will 95% of the time ship back on Monday and give you tracking number Tuesday.

How much is return shipping?

Return shipping is calculated during checkout to anyone in the USA (excluding Alaska & Hawaii). Anywhere else you must contact us for a shipping quote.

I have a shipping account with USPS/UPS/FedEx can you use my account to ship back to me and refund the shipping that you charged?

Absolutely. No problem.

The only shipping company option during checkout was UPS for shipping. I thought I could use any service I wanted?

You can choose ANY company you want to ship us your console. The company we use for return shipping is UPS. 

I am trying to purchase multiple services and/or multiple consoles and the shipping charges are astronomical! Why!?

It's charging you shipping PER item. After we ship out, we will readjust the cost and refund you back some shipping.

Why does the tracking number not work?

Wait till 8:00pm PST before trying to track.

What are your UPS/USPS shipping options?

We use UPS Ground, 2nd Day Air, Overnight Saver & USPS Priority for Worldwide.

Do you ship me a box to send my console to you?

No, you need to use your own box and ship your console to us.

Can I ship my console in the original box that came with the system?

No, use a USPS Large Flat Rate Box or a box that will fit your system good. Do not use boxes that are 3ft x 3ft either, that is just ridiculous.

Do you ship Worldwide/International?

Yes, email us your full address so we can give you a shipping quote via USPS. All international orders will be sent via USPS.

Is return shipping added to the cost and how much is return shipping?

Anywhere in the USA excluding Alaska & Hawaii the shipping will be calculated during checkout.

Do you only ship to a confirmed paypal address?

Yes, we will only ship to a confirmed paypal address. Your payment will be auto-declined if you send a payment with an unconfirmed address.

If I ship my console to get modded, do you send it back to the address from where it got shipped from or the invoice address?

We will ship it back to your confirmed paypal address only, unless you pay with cash/money order.

I don't have a confirmed address/I want it shipped to a different address instead...is there anyway you can still ship to me?

Yes. You can pay via Paypal eCheck or you can send us cash/money order. Contact us so we can make arrangements.

Do you ship to APO?

We won't ship directly to the an apo but if you provide us with one of your friends addresses in the states we will ship to that, then they can ship the console out to you. The reason for this is because there is no usps tracking when sending to apo and we have had packages get lost many times.

How long does it take before my order gets shipped?

All premodded systems ship out on Monday.

What dashboards are included and what is the default loading dash?

EvoX is the most stable dashboard, which is the default loading dash. We do add Avalaunch which you can load up manually. You can also add your own via FTP.

Can I play emulators directly off the hard drive?

Yes, you can play nes, snes, sega, N64, arcade and many others!

Can I play divx, xvid, svcd ect from the hard drive?

Yes, you can FTP them directly to the hard drive and play them.

Can I rent an xbox game and copy it directly to the hard drive and play it?

Yes, you can.

Not at all. Once your system is modded, your console is exactly the same as it was before but now can read backups. Nothing will change on the dashboard. EVERYTHING will stay the same and your system will read originals and backups.

Is the firmware mod a mod chip?

There is no mod chip installed. It's a firmware mod only.

Isn't a mod chip better though?

Why would you want to waste money on a mod chip when the firmware mod does the same exact thing? The firmware mod can do everything a mod chip can. They are the same thing.

Will this mod work with the new xbox 360 experience (NXE)?

Yes

Will I be able to update my 360 with the updates / will it mess up the mod?

Yes you can update and no it will not mess up the mod if you update.

Do you update my console to the latest dashboard over live before you mod my system with the new LT firmware?

Yes

Can I just send you my DVD drive out of my 360 to be modded or do I have to send the whole console?

If you feel comfortable taking apart your XBOX 360 without damaging the seals/parts and putting everything back together again...by all means...just send the DVD drive only.

Will the warranty sticker be cut or removed?

No, your sticker will be in tact.

Can I still play on xbox live without getting banned?

There is always a possibility but we offer a unbanned service so you got nothing to worry about.

Will I lose any information on my hard drive by getting it modded?

No, all your information on your hard drive will be the same.

Can I use the same hard drive with all my game saves?

Yes, you can use everything the same.

Can you email me my DVD keys after I use your service?

Yes, contact us back after we send you tracking and we will email it over.

My xbox 360 is giving me an E73 or E74 error code. Can you fix this?

Yes, just purchase the ring of death service.

My XBOX 360 has sound but no picture, do you know what is wrong?

It means your XBOX 360 needs to be repaired. Your system did not give the ring of death yet but will soon.

What is the best DVD drive for my xbox 360?

We think BenQ/Lite-On drives are best followed by Samsung. Hitachi drives are garbage.

How come the newest (93450c) 360 DVD drives cost extra to mod?

The reason is...we have to cut traces, solder wires, and then repair the traces. This is very tedious and skilled process.

How can I tell what chipset I have in my Wii console?

Email us your WIi serial number and we will gladly tell you what's inside your Wii.

Is the Wiikey2/DriveKey firmware upgradeable?

Yes, by DVD (We will show you where to get it when the time is right)

The "New Super Mario Bros." game does not work for me. How do I fix this?

Can I still play online?

Yes.

Is the softmod or modchip better? What's the difference?

If you want to only play games directly from the hard drive then you do the softmod + usbhdd. If you just want to play games from DVD-R's then do a modchip only.

Which mod chip is better?

They are basically the same. Only difference is the whole Wiikey 2 chip can be updated via DVD. Two parts of DriveKey can be updated: The FPGA and the SPI Flash. Most updates only need to write to the SPI Flash, meaning that they can be applied via DVD. However, if an FPGA update is needed, it will be necessary to connect the d2prog JTAG programmer to DriveKey.

I have Wii firmware 4.2u. Can I still play imports with the mod chip?

No, 4.2u firmware makes it so you cannot play imports. We can update you to 4.3u then downgrade you to 4.1u so imports work again if you wanted.

Can I play USA, PAL and JAP games?

Yes, you can play originals, usa-backups, pal-backups and jap-backups. Just don't update your console with a PAL/JAP disc. Remove the update off the ISO before playing.

I currently have an older mod chip in my Wii. Can I send it in to have modded with the newer chip and remove the older one I have?

Yes, just purchase the mod service and the chip you want for your Wii. We will remove your old chip and install the new one. Your old chip will be sent back with your system as well.

So I was trying to be Mr. Professional and tried to mod my Wii myself, and lifted some solder points off the board. Can you fix it?

We need you to take a macro photo (choose the flower icon on your camera) of the area you tried to solder so we can see if we can fix it. Email the pictures to us.
